Lodging

While staying at deerheart for one of our scheduled events or for your own informal retreat, we have a variety of lodging choices for your consideration:

Private House nestled in the forest - sleeps up to six people.
Cozy Caravan, a special space for one or two people with sun-deck and hammock
Camping for up to eight people in forested camping area

Each of our unique accommodation choices offers you a secluded, peaceful experience in keeping with being at a refuge for spirit.

The Yurt Temple is included for your use with the price of accommodation. The temple was built with intention and its energy is held as sacred space for inner reflection. On days when there are no scheduled workshops, the Yurt is open to the public from 8:00 am until 9:00 am for silent meditation. For the remainder of the day, the Yurt is available for the exclusive use of deerheart guests for spiritual practice.

Since deerheart is a retreat centre, we want to know a little about you and your spiritual practice to help facilitate a positive retreat experience. Please contact us to set up your retreat.

Please note that all guests are asked to refrain from all alcohol and recreational drug use while at deerheart.

We Recycle

We have an comprehensive recycling program for all of your waste. Please take the time to separate your waste into recyclables, compost, and absolute garbage.

All of our accommodation is serviced by composting toilets which take your waste and turn it into valuable fertilizer for our non-edible gardens.

Cancellation Policy

We require 50% of the total as a deposit to hold your space at deerheart. If you cancel 2 weeks before your booking date you will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee. Those who cancel within 2 weeks of the arrival date will have their deposit put toward visiting deerheart at another time.
